101 Ways to Help |

There are many ways you can help the Inter-American Development Fund and they don’t always involve opening your wallet. Here are a few that we have begun writing, our goal is to reach 101 ways to help: |

1. Place links to our webpage in your webpage, blog, and other sites.
2.
Talk to your friends about us, help increase awareness of our projects.
3. Introduce us to people, we are developing a database of Latinos abroad and those that are interested in helping our continent.
4. If you know a reporter or are one yourself, write an article about us or one of our projects.
5. Begin a fundraising event with your friends, school, fraternity/sorority, family, co-workers to help finance one of our projects.
6. Help us plant a tree at one of our parks.
7.
Join, and invite your friend to join, our facebook group “Latinos on the Move.”
8.
Share with us data, articles, and statistics about education and health in Latin America.
9.
If you know an architect or are one yourself, design our projects with the artistic view of what the project would look like, it cuts our costs.
10.
If you are in a music band, hold a concert for one of our causes.
11.
Subscribe, or subscribe someone, to receive our Quarterly Magazine.
12.
Include us, and all our benefactors, in your prayers.
13.
Visit our projects and the infrastructure we are building all over the Americas.
14.
Purchase a gift for someone from our Development Marketplace
15.
Start a “Latinos on the Move” group at your school or university.
16.
Make a Direct Debit donation through our webpage.
17.
Get your friends and co-workers to start a fund specially designed for your country or area of development (educational, health, recreational, sports, cultural) to be administered and nourished by the Inter-American Development Fund.
18.
Leave a legacy with us, and we will make sure it translates into gifts for future generations.
19.
Donate a book for one of the libraries we are building.
20. Volunteer for one of our Internship Programs.
21.
Invite us to speak at your event.
22.
Nominate us for an award. It brings recognition, knowledge about us, which in turn inspires and attracts more supporters.
23.
Donate your flight miles to us.
24.
Join our Host Program and host us at your home when one of our executives travels to your city.
25.
If you are a movie star, a sports star, or someone famous, donate us an autographed item to be auctioned.
26.
Donate school materials (eg. maps, rulers, compass, test tubes, etc.) we visit multiple communities and know were these could have a good use, plus in most cases we can get them into the country tax free.
27.
Consider us for your company’s advertisement; frequently we have spaces for spots in the sports complexes that we build.
28.
Write us a letter/poem/song, and tell us what you think about what we do.
29.
Volunteer to help paint our school walls, organize our library books, put up the curtains of our community theaters, etc
30.
Convince your company that being “Socially Responsible” could bring many benefits, from positive publicity to having happier employees. There are multiple ways your company can help with our projects.
31.
Donate athletic gear (eg. volleyball nets, baseball gloves, tennis rackets, etc.) we visit multiple communities and know were these could have a good use, plus in most cases we can get them into the country tax free.
32.
If you are on TV or Radio invite us to come speak at your show.
33.
If you are in a sports team, have an exhibition match for one of our causes.
34.
If you are a cook, or enjoy cooking Latin food, host a dinner to benefit one of our causes.
35.
Become an Associate Member of the Inter-American Development Fund.
36.
If you work at an international aid agency, consider sponsoring one of our projects.
37.
Donate school band materials (eg. instruments, music books, etc.) we visit multiple communities and know were these could have a good use, plus in most cases we can get them into the country tax free.
38.
Choose to pay tribute to someone special by making a Gift in Memory on their name.
