Volunteering

There are many ways you can help the Inter-American Development Fund and we highly value all the time, effort, and advice you can give us.  Currently the Inter-American Development Fund has two volunteer programs: Passive Volunteers and Active Volunteers.

Passive Volunteers

Passive Volunteers are those that lend their time, effort, or advice for brief and sporadic periods no longer than three months

Active Volunteers (Interns)
Program to begin May 2009

Active Volunteers are those that lend their time, effort, or advice for a continuous period longer than three months.  Our interns are assigned development projects and a mentor for the designed task.  At the same time, interns are encouraged to take classes at a partner college-level institution and produce a paper on development to be published at the end of the internship.
