Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The Inter-American Council is primordially the financial and social axis of the Fund.  The Council is made up of the following groups of Associate Members that collaborate with multiple tasks in the development and growth of the institution.

Administrative Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity that request their admittance and pay the corresponding contribution of $500.00 (five hundred US dollars).  Their association has a validity of 2 (two) years, with entitlement to participate with voice and vote on the Administrative Committee.  Among other privileges, Administrative Partners have the right to elect a member of the institution to give an inaugural speech during the opening ceremony of our edifices and cut the blue ribbon.  Administrative Partners also have the right to participate on other committees, as long as these do not surpass the three committees allowed per associate.  Administrative Partners may also nominate new partners to the Fund..

Founding Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity that request their admittance and pay the corresponding contribution of $25.00 (twenty five dollars) annually.  Their association has an indefinite validity, as long as they keep up to date with their respective dues.  Founding Partners also have the honor to participate in the Administrative Committe with voice and vote.  The Founding Partners may also participate on other committees, as long as these do not surpass the three committees allowed per associate.  Founding Partners may also nominate new partners to the Fund.

Diamond Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity willing to cover the costs of 50% or more of a project.  As a special honor, Diamond Partners have the naming rights for the edifice to be financed and may give an inaugural speech during the opening ceremony of the edifice sponsored.  Their association is valid for one year, or for the period necessary to complete the structure.  Diamond Partners also have the right to participate in the Fundraising Committee and the Project Development Committee.

Platinum Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity that request their admittance and pay the corresponding contribution of $75.00 (seventy five dollars) annually.  As a reward for their loyalty, Golden Partners have the privilege to participate in the Administrative after 3 years of continuous membership to the Fund.   Platinum Partners may also nominate new partners to the Fund.  The committees available to the Golden Partners are the Fundraising Committee, the Project Development Committee, or the Ethics and Values Committee.

Golden Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity that request their admittance and pay the corresponding contribution of $50.00 (fifty dollars) annually.  As a reward for their loyalty, Platinum Partners have the privilege to participate in the Administrative Committee after 5 years of continuous membership to the Fund.  Platinum Partners may also participate in the Fundraising Committee or the Project Development Committee.

Development Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity that request their admittance and pay the corresponding contribution of $25.00 (twenty five dollars) annually.  Development Partners have the right to participate in the Fundraising Committee.

Honorary Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity and who have provided an extraordinary service to the Fund or one of its projects to be completed.  Honorary Partners can be suggested by the Administrative Partners, Golden Partners, or by the Chief Executive Officer of the Fund, to be ratified by the Ethics and Values Committee.  Their association is valid for 3 (three) years, with the right to participate in the Fundraising Committee or the Project Development Committee.

Distinguished Partners:
Individuals identified with the entity, who are exceptional and amply recognized by society for their service to the community.  Their association to the Fund is valid for 1 (one) year with the right to participate in the Fundraising Committee, Project Development Committee, or the Ethics and Values Committee.

Membership to the Inter-American Development Fund (Fondo Interamericano de Desarrollo) is solely and exclusively by invitation, where only authorized members such as Administrative Partners, Founding Partners, and Golden Partners are allowed to extend invitations for membership.  If you are interested in becoming part of this organization, contact us here.
